Muffler location....?
does it matter where the mufflers go under the truck, Is it going to make any difference in sound or performance,, if the mufflers are up by the cab close to the headers versis back under the bed by the axle...

Aside from the factory heat shielding being in a particular spot, it really doesn't matter. You may find the sound or heat could be an issue to you later.

sound is not an issue, my harley is LOUD...
I want my truck to rumble, be loud, and peeps to hear me commin..lol...
This truck is the quietest i've ever had,,, cant take it no more...
Starting tomarrow, I will be putting headers on, and dual pipe all the way out, with dual 40 ser flowmasters..
