Help Fuel Filter
I have a 86 Ranger XLT w/ a V6 and it has the cartridge style canister. Getting the filter is no problem but getting a new O-ring for the canister is a horrible nightmare. Anybody have any reccomendations. The dealer says I have to order the whole canister assy!?!

That canister "should" be empty, and the only filter that needs changing is on the frame rail under the driver. Thats how it is on my 87 anyway. Mine also has that canister, but in 221,000 miles I havent touched it. I've been told that it's only used with deisel engines.
