the engine and tranny weigh more than 900 a fully dressed FE weighs 900 alone, and i took my 390 and C6 tranny out togather and i had no problems i used thoist in my dads shop and it worked like clock work, it didnt take 10 mins i had to re adjust the chain a few times to get it leveled right but it came right out with no prblem but it takes a lot of height to get the engine and tranny out togather, when i out them back in i will put them in seperate though.
