My husband drives it whenever we got out together. He gets embarassed by my sticker on the back though. I'll have to see about the tail pipe thing. I just mentioned it to my better half and he has talked about getting duel exhaust, but we haven't checked into it deeply. I didn't realize the tailpipe looks that badly, but I guess it could look better.
Dual pipes on a turbo diesel. Yuck. Its a diesel, be proud of it. Run a big single exhaust. Dual pips from the rear if you can't hear the engine or know what powers it it will look like a gas truck. But its your truck so don't let me influence your decision.
I've done many things to my rigs people don't think look good but I think they look good. Have fun.
I like Trent and the bigger tires make it bad (as in good). A cheap but effective alternative to tips on the exhaust pipe is to wire brush the tip and spray it black until you decide to go stainless (I'd stay away from chrome since it will not last and will rust starting around the welds). Adding the 1/4 inch was a great idea and the price was right on too.
When I put on my 40" tires I had the same problem with rubbing and no amount of backspacing was going to fix it. Besides the fact that I could not find a rim with any more backspacing then I already have. I drilled out the stops on the knuckles and put in grade 8 socket head cap screws with a jam nut and adjusted them until the tires were just off the springs.
Wow luv's
Truck looks great, and to thing 315's don't rub, or with small mod ?? the radius thingy kinda has me stumped, your mean
your wheel turn stops ? stops you from turning too far.
