1999 - 2000 idm location?

help i cant find the injector drive module in my f550 is it hidden under something?

It's there. Pull the inner liner out of the driver side wheelwell, you'll see it.

is it under the air filter box or do i have to pull the wheel well out under the fender thanks keith

Jack up the front, pull the drivers side wheel off, drop the wheel well liner down. The IDM is bolted to the inner fender behind the liner.

Is the idm located in the same place for a 95 psd. My truck has been acting a sluggish and several times it has died while driving. I replaced the cps. When it dies i let it sit a while and crank the motor for about 20 seconds and it finally starts. it act like it ran out of fuel. The ford truck tech said it was the idm. does this sound right? they want $900 for parts and $380 to install. is't the idm fairly simple to replace??

I think it's in the same place on the earlier ones. Might as well save the labor costs.
