Low light Gauges

My 79 truck gauages are working but the light is very dim. Even when cranked up all the way. Is it possible some one moved the **** to the wrong position and reattached it or do I need to make some repairs to the lighting unit? I'm a beginner when it comes to dash problems so please be gentle!!!

Try swapping out the headlight switch.

Will do!!! Thanks for the info. I'll pull it out clean and replace the bulbs with the 194's.
