Steering Column
In what year did Ford move the ignition key from the dash to the steering column. From what i gather it was in 75 that it was last on the dash, but i could be wrong. Was this an option? Or like typical Ford did they just use what they had so ther is no transition date? I want to use the power steerinf boxes from a 70's truck in my 66. Switching the column out is my easiest option. But i also want to retain the stock key switch on the dash. Oh yah i need one with an auto shifter if that makes a difference.
