Hi this is my first time so bear with me.
I have a 1988 superduty 1ton dually diesel w/5spd zf transmission.
The emergency brake assembly was "blown" up when I bought the truck.
I have been looking for one locally and have had no luck. The dealer wants a grand for a new one. My biggest concern is {did it do any damage to the tranny} and can the bearings blown apart do things to the rest of the driveline that I can't see or need to look for.
If anyone has a good assembly please let me know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am still looking for a good/rebuilt/used E-brake assembly for my ZF transmission. Mine is totally gone. Housing is busted and the bearings have totally disapeared into tiny pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
