I think about how I will dread visiting the In Laws and all the stuff I will get that there is no need for just cause people feel they must give presents.

On a positive note- it's fun to watch the kids get excited about it.

I think about Joseph and Mary and the ordeal they went through on that fateful distant night. I think of Mary and her panic when she realized that her baby was due. Or a midwife Joseph clearing the baby throat. I think of the baby Jesus lying in a feeding trough. I can imagine the low ceeling of the stable just high enough to walk around with the head bowed. And I can almost smell the stinch in the air with barely enough warmth. The prophecies of Isaiah now fulfilled, God the Father watches over them with a proud and satisfied look. Just then my eyes begin to tear as the tune Breath of Heaven echoes in my mind.
