I got my 03 Crew Cab - 6 liter in late August and have not had any major problems yet. There is a sticker on the front cowel:

My dealer did the complimentry first oil change at 4950 miles and I have ~7000 miles on it now. I am leary of it not having problems though. Would you run an Oasis to verify the engine build date etc.
You have not had either of the latest flashes, engine build date I don't have access to, look on the rear of valve cover for engine sticker with build date on it....funny, the free oil change still shows up.....

Thanks for the reply. My dealer did the first oil change free as part of the deal. They said there was a Ford recall to replace the cold start module that includes an oil change but, why change it if it works? They said we can do it in March for second service.
What can you tell from the engine tags?

All the engines are built in indy by navistar, the c93 injectors have the potential to leak causing problems, numerous posts here about that, check your oil level every 200-300 miles...
