Is it just me or does it seem like everyone is getting more and more stupid. Let me just give you an example;
My dad and I were replacing the brakes on my mom's Expidition last Sunday, and discovered that we were going to have to replace the driver's side brake calaper. So we called around and Advanced auto parts had the best price, but we were going to have to wait till wed. So I go and get the new calaper and bring it home. I started to put it on and discoverd that some idiot had given me the passenger's side calaper. So I call them, and talk to manager, she tells me that i did recieve the correct part, she even looked at a picture of it on the computer and i had gotten the part i ordered. Well, she tells me she wants to order the SAME EXACT PART and i can come and return the part i have. I then firmly tell NO i want the driver's side calaper not the passenger's side. Her very next statment is,"well, there is nothing i can do for you if you don't want me to order the part." I said fine and good bye. At this point i was hotter than i firecracker, because i just flat out hate stupid people. So my dad and i go down to the parts store and have a talk with the manger and compare the old and new part so we can show her why we cant use this part. Well after ten minutes of disconsion we find out that some bone head at the head office and listed the driver's side as the passenger's side and vice versa. So we now have to order the part again and it will be in friday. Well today is friday and guess what, no part, the guy i talk to says it will be here tomorow, this is still after explaning to him that two days from wed is friday. So my mom has had my car all week and while her's is sitting on jackstands in the driveway. Yes, i do understand that since it is not in today it will be in tomorow, but when you tell me somthing you better folow up on it. Just to let everyone know that this is the last time that i will ever do business with this company.

I have thousands of other perfect examples of why this world just seems to be getting dumber and dumber.
