NC height law
Looking to Possibly move to North Carolina , and have been trying to find Bumper height law info. I love My Bronco and don't want to change a thing on it. 93 bronco , 351 , 9 inch lift and 39's. Any info would be great thanks

Don't even think about going higher than 6 inches from the factory height - unless, of course, you get a written OK from the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles. You don't need a permission slip if yours is a multipurpose ride atop a truck chassis that sees some dirt.

I have seen many trucks with 6+ inches of lift running around in NC. Most have commercial type tags which I do not think are hard to get (only cost more). I bet you can check the NCDMV web site and get any and all info you might want.
