I have a E4OD that was in my 1995 Bronco that I recently had installed in my 94F150. I had the tranny rebuilt for the Bronco with a level 10 rebuild kit and have a Presion Industries Torque Converter. It seemed to perform OK in the Bronco. When I took it to have it installed locally at a tranny shop, they told me I needed a different solonoid pack. When I got the truck back, it will go to about 3000 rpm in 1st gear and then deaccelerate and accelerate again as if it was going to shift. This only occurs at wot. The true 1st to 2nd shift occurs at approx 4500rpm, it too feels a little off, with a shuddering feel to the shift. Anybody out there with any ideas on this?
Thanks
The tranny shop informed me, ( after I had taken it back complaining) that this was normal for the E4OD and that with the firmer shifts now in the tranny you can just feel it more. I dont buy that one.
This is only at wide open throttle and only in 1st gear.
