Loose steering column/wheel
Hey, new to the forum and I hope I can get some help. I have a problem with my steering wheel being loose. I have removed the wheel and I do not have any diagrams of the shaft support in the upper casting. All I see is a spring under the signal cancelling cam. There was part of a washer that was ate up by the spring I think and it fell out upon removing the wheel. My question is, is there supposed to be a bearing underneath the spring or some sort of bushing around the shaft? There was a lot of ground up metal underneath the wheel and signal mechanism so something is missing. Anyone have any breakdown or drawings?

Loose steering column/wheel
My truck is a 97 F-250 SC XLT 4X4 PSD 5Spd 4.1RE. It has tilt and cc but no airbag. I recently bought this truck and am debugging it as it was a work truck in the woods in central Oregon. I put the first road diesel in it when I bought it and it runs pretty good but I am going to do the downpipe and intake thing soon. I have to take care of all safety issues first though. Thanks for your help.
