4bbl on 240?

How will a 4bbl perform on a '74 E100 with a 240ci I6? I am looking at the offenhauser dual port 4bbl manifold and 390cfm vacuum secondaries holley. Does anyone know what the cfm rating of the stock 1bbl is?

Oh. Headers may be used but the rest of the engine will be stock.

My main concern is low-end torque. I want to improve or at least maintain low-end torque while increasing high end power. I know that bigger usually means low-end loss and mid to high-end gain but the design of the offenhauser manifold looks like it may be able to provide a little of both worlds. Maybe even better fuel mileage.

If the primary barrels aren't too big, your low end shouldn't suffer that bad. I'm sure you have to do quite a bit of adjusting on that carb to keep it from bogging when the secondaries open up. I don't see how a 240 could pull that much air without stumbling a bit.
