Fuel Filter Line Tool Size???
What is the proper Fuel Filter Line Tool Size???
I bought one that says "Ford Fuel & A/C Line Spring Coupling Tool" Performance Tool p/n W83113. It has sizes 3/4", 5/8", 1/2", and 3/8".
None of them fit inside the fitting to release the hoses. Am I doing something wrong? Am I an idiot? Do I have the wrong size tool?
Search has not yielded a tool size.

When I changed my fuel filter, I bought the muti pack of white round release things(I have no idea what they are called). It seems I used a 3/8 or 5/16. I needed to sqeeze the thing together and push in and the filter almost fell off. Hope this helps. BTW I bought it at Pep Boys.

I just walked into Auto Zone and said I need the fule filter tool for 01 F250. They game me the right one, I know I know Auto Zone giving the right part is pretty amazing but it really happened.
