Sorry for the lack of info last time. I have a 1994 F-150 5.8L auto,
extended cab 4x4 with 33" tires. I have allready installed a March under drive pulleykit, Super Chip, Mac Headers, 3" exhaust and a Helix Throttle body spacer, which have given me noticable gains.
Any ideas on about what kind of HP (approx) I would now have?
Any other bolt on possibilities? I am also considering a crate engine but am not sure about using the stock intake system. reliability is a must as I also use the truck for work. I am also thinking of rebuilding the engine and any ideas on how to get a good reliable 385 HP would be much appreciated. I am trying to shoot for a price range of $5000 or less. One more thing, what would the factory HP rating of my truck have been? Thanks for any help!
well on the efi 5.8 351 people usually say something like 210 hp and 300 tq +/-. With all the additions you have probably gained 20-25 hp all together if not less.
How do you wanna achieve 380 hp? Nitrous oxide, stroker, supercharger, or naturally aspirated.
