Dana 61
I just pulled a Full Float Dana rear end out of a 1976 Ford F250 2wd.
I was told that it is a 30 spline Dana 61 and that I wouldn't be able to find a full spool and 3.73 ring & pinion set for it
Can someone provide a little insight to this?

Some D60 parts for 4.10:1 ratios and less will fit.
It would be better to keep the D61 intact for someone that wants higher fuel mileage in a F250/350 with a 460 and just get a regular D60 axle for your application.

I have a Dana 60 in my '72 F250 right know, but I wanted to upgrade to 30 spline axles, convert it to disc brakes & add a locker.
Here's another question, will the 30 spline axle shafts from the Dana 61 fit in the older Dana 60 that I'm running know? Obviously I could just pull the axles tommorrow and compare lengths.
