5.4 Bi-fuel Rough running engine

Does anyone out there have any experience with this engine configuration? I just purchased this thing and need some advise on rough idle and rough running under load.

Thanks

Watch for a bad compuvalve, we have had numerus valve failures. Does it do it on both fuel types? Do you know if it is switching from one fuel type to the other. Make sure the truck is off before switching fuel types.

As it turns out it was just 2 defective coils. Cyl. 1 & 6. those parts and a new set of plugs have it running right. Thanks again for help.

I'll keep an eye out for the compuvalve.

Are there any shop manuals available for the Bi-fuel trucks?

Our shop is linked to an online service, so we dont have the manuals. I would prefer the books, over the service we get from these folks. I hope to go to a FORD School on this soon. Thanks for letting us know what was found
