IAC valve

Im trying to correct an idle problem on a 94 F150 with 8 cyl engine automatic trans. When you first crank it it stutters and will idle real low then speed up again i believe its in the IAC but not certain could someone please help me locate the valve or explain something else it could be. thanks

Your IAC motor is located on the side of the throttle body on 5.0s and 5.8s and is located on the intake on the 460. It could be vary likly be your IAC, but it could also be your tps sensor, or dirty injectors or even a vacuum leak.

I would go ahead and remove your IAC and clean it and also clean the spot where you remove the IAC.

thanks alot guys, i had to fix it for my pops. took apart the throttle body and the upper manifold cleaned all the carbon all out and runs perfect now. thanks
