Mazda Fuel Problem
I had the engine rebuilt in my '92 B2200, carburator Mazda (at substantial expense). The truck still isn't running right, so I had it checked to find out (so I'm told) that the choke in the carb. is not working and feeding too much fuel to the engine. Also, I'm told the choke cannot be repaired or a manual choke installed and need to buy another carburator (estimated cost of $700 -$800). Does this sound reasonable or is there a better solution.

Once the engine warms, it begins to lose power, stalls, acts like it's running out of gas. When this happens, it will get better when the throttle is opened. Gas mileage went from 22mpg to 13 mpg. The local foriegn auto shop said it was the choke.
