Fan Clutch
First off, a while back a had this wierd vibration and was unsure where it was coming from.. turns out that the fan clutch went bad and took out my waterpump bearings.. we had the waterpump and fanclutch replaced and all was well. I just noticed one thing, the fan runs all the time, and I don't think it is supposed to do that, is it? I thought the fan clutch was supposed to be a thermostat of sorts that at a certain temperature it expended making the fan drive... is that not how it works?
Basically if it is a bad clutch I need to know before it takes out another waterpump... I think I will replace it myself this time... Also, even if the fan blade itself looks to be in really good shape should it be replaced also?
