56 Door Handles
The inside door handles on my stock 56 keep coming off. The small set screw doesn't seem to be enough to secure the handle. I have replaced the handles and the studs but after two months - same problem. Does anyone have a solution or recommend an alternative handle with a stronger securing mechanism?

Hi
Mount the handle to the shaft with out the set screw in. Then use something to mark the hole location (in the handle) on the shaft, remove the material at that location until you have a flat spot for the set screw to bottom out I think that will solve your problem. It did on mine.
