Today I noticed that when I put my foot in it I get very little response. I basicly have no acceleration power between 1000 and 2500 RPM. This is ther first I have noticed this. For instance I'm cruising down a country road tonight going about 60mph in 6th gear. My RPM's are at around 2000 and my boost guage is at 5psi, I put my foot to the floor and basicly get no reponse for 2,3,4 seconds. It's not till after I reach about 2500 rpm which seems like ages later that my boost guage reaches 15psi or 16. From a stop sign it evern worse.
It is a cold rainy evening. Could that possibley be the problem?
I don't know what to do. Very Strange. I've hear dof Turbo Lag but not to this extreme. I know that my truck has more power than that. Does anyone know what's going on? I don't have a chip in it. But the guy who owned it before did. I have a straigt pipe exhaust and a K & N Intake.
Any information would be greatly appreciated Thanks.
