that somehow, somwhere, something is watching you? I got a big 'ole case of the ******* going into my basement last night when I got home. Fire was burning low, dog was curled up, and all of the hair on the back of my....side stood up, felt like I walked through a ghost.....
I had that happen once. I lived in a townhome. As I walked downstairs one night, I felt a HUGE presence behind me. Gave me the wiilies too. I ran to the bottom, as did my cat. Nothing was there, but the feeling was scarey.
I was in the woods once, felt something near by, dark but a good moon. Turned to see a set of eyes watching me. Just thinking about that give me the hebie jebies.
Its strange how your body can sense something. Ever walk through a cold mass of air in an otherwise warm room with little or no air flow?
I've heard in combat situations in an setting up an ambush- you should have everyone not looking at the ambush target cause they might be able to mystically "sense your presence"
I don't know all combat units train this way- but some apparently do.
It is even bigger than just your immediate surroundings. The sientific types would have us believe that Space is an infinite thing, don't believe them.
We're all in this gigantic fishbowl sitting on someones livingroom mantel, what you feel is the individual checking his little "Pets".

...Classic close combat sentry removal technique....never look directly at the target, they can usually *sense* the threat.
Also remember when you lose one sense your other become more intense. This is why a blind person can hear and smell much better than people with vision.
With an ambush you should never focus only on the point of attack, because you then could be ambushed. Keep you eyes moving and your mouth closed.
