Low Speed Vibrations
95 Ranger XL 4wd, auto w/limited slip rear end. At very low speeds forward and reverse (5mph and less) I get a "rumble" exactly like a bad u joint. I have replaced all 3 joints, carrier bearing and cushion. Cleaned and greased the slip yoke. Once the vehicle is moving it goes away and drives fine. Doesn't seem to matter 2wd or 4 wd, or if hubs are in or out. All wheel bearings seem fine-no noises and tight, but have not pulled them off yet. Hoping I don't have to. It doesn't seem to be getting worse and I doubt it is catastrophic, but I drives me crazy that I can't find it. Xmsn and xfer case seem to be working great. HELP!!!
