After you do all that you may want to think about putting a larger throttle body on. Just a suggestion though. Most people think that you have to have 1 from a 351 or 460 but, a 302 throttle body is by far bigger than a 300-6 tb and would probably do you some good after all them mods. G/l and don't forget to tell us how much your mods helped out your motor and how it's running with the cpu

It sounds like you've done this before, and I'm a ubern00b, so I wonder whether you or someone else can inform me how to remove the pipe from the last converter in detail, please

Well, all is in and done. Truck sounds great with the gibson system. I didnt notice a whole lot of neck snappin power though. I can definately tell it likes to rev a little higher than before. It still doesnt seem to have what I think it should. The stock 94 is still super smooth and pulls higher into the rpms. Higher meaning about 2500-3000 rpms. I know it isnt the exhaust, cam, or head(mild port, bowl cleanup and open exh.) I still have other things to check. It is nice to have the other truck as a diagnostic tool. I will keep you posted.

What do you call mild port work?

What size injectors are you using?

My 95 compression is 145-150 psi. Yours does seem low.

I port matched the intake to the head, smoothed the ports, cleaned the bowls and removed some material from around the the intake and exhaust valve seats(more from the exh) and ground on the roof of the exh around the air injection tubes. I am still using the stock injectors(new) 14s. I have gotten mixed reviews about the 19s. I think the computer is going to adjust the amount of fuel according to the oxygen sensors input regardless of injector size. The 94 model uses the same injectors I think.

Yes, the compression readings do seem a little low. They are all consistent though. I have toyed with the idea of re ringing with a good ring or even a gapless setup. I am impressed with all the high compression readings I hear about. My problem is I dont burn a drop of oil and my cylinder walls still have a perfect cross hatch pattern on them. I am going to test it again since the new cam is in.

The stock injectors will support 195-200 hp but if you exceed that, time for larger injector and a adjustable fuel pressure regulator or larger injectors and a chip.

Considering the mild cam and mild port work, I'd say your well below that.

Good luck

Something else I was considering was going with a flat top piston to bring up the compression. The factory piston has something like a .330 dish. What is the compression ratio for these year trucks. What would a flattop bring it up to? Was there possibly a ratio reduction for the 95 year. Im just guessing here. It certainly seems like it when you drive my 95 after my fathers 94. And his is STOCK. I know he gets amused when he sees me under my hood...

Compression for the 300 EFI trucks is ~8.7:1, and ~8.4:1 for the carbed engines.

Both m5od, 4.9, 2.73. I guess I am splittin hairs here but I just think they should operate the same because they both have the same running gear. My 95 seems to have a dead spot off idle requiring some gas to get moving whereas the 94 has forward movement as the clutch pedal starts to move up without bogging down the engine whatsoever and pretty good acceleration when you mash the pedal.

Sounds like alot of spent money for nothing, but good post. I got a 1993 I6 in a F150, I was wondering how to get more power out of the top end 3100RPM + up to that RPM is great but just sucks out and I thought 19lb/hr would fix that but I get mixed interpertations about it, but Im curious as to why it aint got no more power, Its got to be Fuel matter, and the 19lb/hr would definetly give it that extra fuel to power that extra air at 3200+
