You're welcome to start a list, but not on this site. I'd rather not have the whole world visit FTE only because of that.

Well, not to mention that there are not a heck of a lot of professional web developers here to see it.

(the folks who create the pop ups)

Do you have pop-up blockers? I have a free blocker on my comp. and get very few if any pop-ups. Once in a great while, one will sneak through, but not often.

You can get the addys for these totally obnoxious companys that provide popups and put them into your firewall to KILL most of them. Visit http://ww2.arin.net/whois/ to find the addys and you can eliminate things such as the X10 camera, worlds largest casino, undertone networks, doubleclick, and fastclick from your life.

You should consider running this http://www.panicware.com/product_psfree.html . I have had it for six months now, and not a single pop-up window that utilizes javascript has made it into my screen! The only drawback is that on certain sites that do use java (ie AOL, www.live365.com, etc), you have to temporarily disable it by double clicking on it. Its a great tool, and its free. You should check it out.

Run Mozilla or Opera and you won't be bothered with them, anything but MS Intermet Exposer.
