Forget that- that one thread gets closed, but the "women and gay men" thread just DISAPPEARS. Has anyone else noticed that happens EVERY TIME someone mentions the "g" word around here? And I thought we were discussing that topic in a reasonably mature manner. Or is it just my computer?

1956MarkII, as long as you are regulating morality you are going to have thse types of . . . anomolies.
This board is by charter, regulated morality.
And that is to speak neither negatively or positively of the concept - I feel it is just and accurate observation.

I am pretty close to extra confident that both Eric & "The Ladies" here, know me well enough to know that I genuinely meant no offense to them in any form.
But the same can not be said for random visitors from "the world".
NOT knowing me and picking up on that thread COULD realistically make it seem rather lurid and most offensive.
. . to some.
I got carried away. I legitimately broke the rules. Rules I understand and agreed to abide by in my use of this resource. I regret that and understand Eric's decision not to simply move it to Ryan's plate (in the Pig Pen).
But don't expect me to stop pushing the boundaries.
It's in my nature.
