Ladies arent as easy to offend as you might think.

THe reason that all threads with the "g" word in it is because people that have the "g" trait are

1. not moral.

2. are not supposed to own Ford trucks or talk on this board.

3. they are not to be seen nor heard.

4. they have no rights to have an opinion about Ford trucks.

5. any kid who reads this might get the idea and choose to be discriminated against and made fun of for the rest of his/her life.

6. we should all be killed so nobody has to see or hear from us.

Hope you have a happy and GAY holiday.

Posts don't disappear because the word "gay" or homosexual appear in them. People who are paranoid about the words need to grow-up, or figure out why it makes them feel insecure. We have several openly homosexual users on this site and they, like anyone else, are welcome on FTE's discussion forums. There is no special pass for any group.

Family-oriented does not mean "not gay". It means that people can feel safe about letting their children on this site without fear of topics containing sexual content, cuss words, drug use, etc. A person's sexual relationships are their business and the details, whether they be heterosexual, homosexual, or something else (?), don't belong here.

Any other interpretation of the guidelines is simply false.

FTE is not a playground for anybody to force their beliefs on anyone else. If you're homosexual, that's your business. If you're not, that's your business. Likewise, I will not tolerate anyone making fun of someone here because of their sexual orientation. This is not political correctness, liberal, conservative, or anything else ---- its courtesy.

If a thread disappears its for one of the following reasons:

1. One of the moderators or assistant admins removed it for reasons I'm not aware of (there are over 3000 daily posts, I can't read them all).

2. The topic is too explicit.

3. The topic has started a flame war (no pun intended) due to the intolerant members on the site and we've decided to stop it.

4. The topic receives a post that is about to throw it over the brink of no-control.

If you have a question about such a topic, please do not hesitate to ask me. I don't have a crystal ball and cannot presume to know what a user thinks about specific threads being locked or disappearing. I'm not even sure which thread is being discussed.... but I'll find out.

And finally, for the record, many more heterosexual posts have disappeared than homosexual posts, because of their content.

Thank you for your time and, hopefully, your understanding as well.

Chiefman, you might be reading just a little to deeply into this. I can't say for sure because I didn't close the thread. I think that any threads that push the "s" envelope (sex), have the potential to bring out posts that violate the forum charter. The audience on this site probably spans teenager to senior citizen and frankly conversations about heterosexual / homosexual topics should be limited simply on the basis that anyone can read the material, regardless of age. I honestly don't mean to take sides with anybody on this.

Okay... I found the deleted thread and its clear why it was deleted.

A. It was getting explicit.

B. There were posts made that could have caused a flame war.

The decision to remove it was correct and justified.

Next question. Would this thread work on Pig Pen? Just wondering. Have an opinion or two!

No, it wouldn't work in Pig Pen either. It wasn't the topic, it was some of the posts in it that caused the removal. Pig Pen posts are not exempt from the guidelines.

Maybe a stupid question but? If the same rules apply, why are there two forums when one would do just fine? Just wondering.

Because..... The 2 things that cause a lot of flaming are :
Politics & Religon.

Just like in Real Life....Never discuss politics or religion when you visit (Insert name here) house.

Read the text under the title for the pig pen.

Hey Mike - sorry but you need to count again.

You never got the Lucky #13 response so that leaves it at 12.
