Medium Duty

Does anyone know of forums that deal with medium duty trucks such as F-700 or F-800? This forum seems to be all pickups. TY

What I want to know is, as much stronger and heavier as we keep making our "light duty" trucks, when does the line start to become blurry? On a 28' flat bed gooseneck (+dovetail) I have hauled over 25K behind my pickup and it handles it powerwise just fine. Seems to me the boundaries are getting closer and closer...

I agree that the line is getting closer in the power cababilities of pick-ups. There are the other factors though such as brakes and frames that play into the equation. Just because you can pull 25-30k doesn't mean you can stop it safely or your vehicle will hold up to it very long. I'm not preaching because I'm guilty of overloading too, pulling about 25,000 pounds with my F-250. It handled alright and had plenty of power but I don't really want to do it again. Now, back to the topic. I don't know of any sites for medium duties but I'm also interested. I wouldn't mind having something larger to make a trailer puller out of.
