Power Lock on 96 EB Explorer

When I press the lock switch on the Driver's side door (only) nothing happens. I works fine to unlock all of the doors. I checked the relays in the rear jack compartment and I disassembled the switch pannel, and checked with an ohm meter - all appear OK. The remote lock/unlock works fine and I can lock the doors using the passenger door lock....Is this just a bad switch or could it be a cable/harness problem somwhere (Oh I hope not!!!)
