You are asking someone on FTE to help you "Break the Law" ?

Did you not know of that if you customize your vehicle from various vehicles you can give it your own Identification numbers ?

Just a thought, but have you considered getting a LEGAL title, it is not that hard?

Call the DMV -- In CT you don't need a title for older cars-- during the process of registration they will re-title it for you.

If it is not hot and it is on your property for a certain length of time, you can get the title in your name.

look in Hemmings motor news, there are what I believe are called title services, that advertise in there. most are people in a state that only recently started using titles, like Alabama. basically, you sell them the car on paper, they register it in their state to get a title, and sell the car back to you on paper, for a fee.
since it is a 65, you may be able to just retitle it in CT, I forget (purposely) how the laws are back home

Most likely, I'd go down and check. If not it wouldn't be that hard to go get one at another place. Making a fake title could land you in some serious trouble.

I'm not sure if other states are the same, but if you do that in Kansas, then the vehicle is titled as a brand new car, and you have to pay brand new car taxes on it. I think chevyhater would be better off filing for a lost title. It would be much cheaper in the long run, IMO.

you don't want it to be a brand new car, then you would have to comply with 2004 emissions laws, and required equipment
