Okay here is what I would like to find out if anyone knows:
A year ago I switched motors in my truck from a 300 I6 to a 302. If I remember correctly the 302 is a 1987 block. I have a four speed manual transmission, the 302 had an automatic flywheel. I found a manual flywheel for a 302 at a local salvage yard, and bolted it on and dropped it in. Since 302's are externally balanced with the flywheel and harmonic balancer could I have damaging vibrations happening because this flywheel is not adjusted for this motor? I can feel no abnormal shaking and it runs great. just worried about future harm to a great motor.
