Solved my trailer brake problem
I finally had the time this afternoon to track down the problem with my electric trailer brake system. I took a test light and checked each post of the 7 pin plug, all of them were good, then I put my 7 to 6 adapter in and checked it and compared it to a diagram and it was off and that was why everytime I hooked up to a trailer, the trailer brakes would stay locked. So I took the adapter apart and switched the blue (electric brakes) and the white (ground) and put it back on and checked it, and it worked good, so tomorrow, I've got to go pick up a trailer, and I'm gonna try it out. I strongly believe that the change in the adaptor solved my problem.
