another 58 radio question
I just found a picture of a am radio for a 58 f250 .it had the round face. my ? is did they have any radios in that year with the rectangle face? mine has a rectangle face in it now , but no other holes in that area of the dash. i think i got the plaine jane version of the 58 -250. the radio in it now looks like it belongs there thanks

No rectangle face radio's were ever offered from the factory. Most of the radio's that ford put in any vehicle had ford stamped or painted on to the side of it. Sounds like somebody put an early aftermarket radio in, and it looks factory. You probably have a standard cab(not a custom cab) version. Although a radio could be had in either model. -4speed
