What do you guys dress your tires with? I use m Meguires high gloss and it works great but it sure is tedious to put on (its a gel)the treads on the tire can be a real pain in the butt. By not putting it on the rims the brake dust is minimal. it also lasts pretty long but there has to be a better way. Thanks
I like Black Magic Tire Wet. It is a spray and to keep it off the wheels I just made a cardboard circle that fits inside the rim of the wheel. Works pretty good and last for a few weeks.
I use a product from ZEP called "Tireless Shine". Its the best tire dressing I've ever used. Spray it on wet or dry tires and it gives them a new silicone look for about 5 days of normal driving.
I buy it direct from ZEP because I am in the heavy truck trade and have an account with them. I also know that Home Depot here in Canada carries ZEP products and can order it if you ask them to.
I pay $80 for a case of 12 cans and a case lasts me about 2 years.
I use black magic also. It is a inexpensive product and does a good job. I show my failane and when we are all detailing qur cars at the show you see alot of people using it. Also see some son of a gun products used. I like the idea of the cardboard cut out for the rims, will save alot of time.
I just switched back to Black Magic and I poured it into a 2 1/2 lb Folgers coffee can (they are made of plastic now and have a great handle) and I bruch it on with a small paint brush. looks great and goes on in a jiff.
Yep, Black Magic here too. Although I stick with the aerosol can. I've had two spay bottles leak over the interior. Not that it matter much, but all the junk slides around so much more.

i actually find it better to also spray the wheels. i then get a rag and wipe the excess off the tires for a smoother look and then wipe off the wheels. if you do this every time brake dust will never stick to the wheels. it gives them a nice shine too. thats what we do in the detail shop.
I have been using meguiares hot shine tire spray and it seems to work pretty good....but it does go on a little thiker than I would prefer and I know is neccesary....But I like son of a gun tire foam quit a bit for the price....
