Nope, they wont gain you much. If you do a search on the whole sight for "Tornado fuel saver", you should get quite a few hits. I know it has been talked about in the big bronco forum more than once...
i had one once and noticed no power and threw it back in the box and it went back. I didn't even check for gas mileage. The air doesn't twirl all the way from the throttle body to the cc. Its a scam.
I have always wondered about that thing.
Now I am young and stupid and admit it so correct me if I am wrong, but. If you make it easier for air to flow thus letting more fuel be delievered wouldnt that tell the EFI to increase fuel flow?
So that would make the Mileage drop right?
It doesnt allow air to flow easier. It doesnt change any aspect on how much air the engine pulls in at any given rpm. It merely changes how the air enters the combustion chamber. It should have no effect on the vehicles computer.

That is what it is supposed to do - but they are nothing more than junk. Basically the same junk as the Fuel Line Magnets that are supposed to break upo the molecules and make your fuel burn more efficiently and cleaner...
