self centered girls
anyway we're both bummed out and depressed cause of our car situation, and whining about it, when his GF chimes in with "well, at least you guys don't have to WRITE A PAPER, like I do"
I don't think she appreciated it, when I told her " I'll write you 3 @#@#$$%^&*&%$#@@$%^*((*&^$$#!% papers if you want to fix my truck"
I mean really, we can't drive anywhere, looking at time and expense to be able to drive again, and she's whining about having to type a little, for a class she CHOOSES to take. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
OK I've vented now, I guess I'll go put the lug nuts back on her Escort.
I am always hearing the college girls whining about stupid crap, their parents are paying for everything and they've got nice cars and great clothes and they complain because it costs them a dollar to park in the college lot. Or they spend half the night walking up and down main street then whine the next day because the shuttle is late to take them 2 blocks to class.
Not that all college kids are like that, true, but I can imagine the culture shock some of these girls are going to get when they step into the Real World. I wish I had their problems.
Tell your bud's GF that when she's done with your trucks she can come put the exhaust back on mine and rebuild the tranny, I'll write her as many papers as she wants.
my step sister is 15 and shes a real ditz. i have a strong intolerance for stupid people somtimes. well ne ways she was all like "my dad better fix all the stuff on that truck or i wont drive it" well when i asked her what was wrong her exact words were "i dunno but the thingy is leakin stuff, its kinda green but it CANNOT be good for that truck" well when i told her its was just radiator fluid and its not a huge deal she persisted that it was and she kept actin like she was superior to car knowledge than me....it made me laugh. i looked at it and its just overflow.
she also bragged about how she thought the brake was the gas and hit a curb...i was in aww. i have NEVER gotten the brake and gas mixed up and i drive double footed somtimes as to keep the engine reved up. i dont think she needs to be driving just yet and i hope that she learns to respect cars cause i think too many people take the for granted. just my 2 cents
Some women just are not into cars like guys are. If someone asked me what drafting was years ago, I wouldn't have a clue. But, the reason why I know now, is from my husband watching races all the time. AND I was asking questions also. Some people just don't realize what it takes to race on a track. How are you going to learn if you don't ask? And someone doesn't say " you won't understand".
But listen, not all women understand the logic in vehicles. I, for one, was in their shoes once, and still am. The only way I learn, is by going through times like you are.
My first experience was replacing wheel bearings on a volvo. They constantly busted. Instead of going further into the axle to find the cause, he just replaced the bearings. My friend got tired of fixing them, and I asked if I can try. Even though the problem was constant, he had me do the bearings from then on. That's when I learned just how easy things were to replace.
Now, if my husband has something to replace and knows it's something I can handle, he has me do it. But, he also stands there to guide me.
I'm proud to be a tomboy!! And I have my husband to thank for being a great teacher!!
Ok, off my soapbox now.
*cough* ex-girlfriend
Awh, how I just feel sorry for them. Life is so rough.

. . ....well go ask another...we're not ALL rednecks. I appreciate anyone who wants to knuckle down and learn. You keep being you!
I do not think I understand your use of the term. Please explain it to me.

If that girl gets married-
She'll be complaining about all the work she has to do to raise the kids constantly- no matter what the man does.
Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
Just something to keep in mind.

I have 3 daughters - and I'm as rough as a cob - so they don't have a chance at being real prim and proper.
My youngest took a dip of Cope the other day and said she liked it! I almost fell out of my chair! Of course she was trying to impress me and then told the truth - she got sick...real sick. But, she had to prove she was game - like her old man. My girls'll get muddy, greasy, dirty and still look like angels.
Something us guys can't do!
You tell 'em bigblu!

!! YE HAW !!
What I want to know big Orn is are they promissed yet? Heck - I'd marry all three of 'em !!
!! YE HAW !!
My oldest and youngest are not married and have not even considered it - that I know of
- my middle girl is married and they're thinking about children. Anyway - why would I let them date a man with only one eye!
But, then again - they have a bit more Irish in them than most men would like - got tempers, they do.
but wait a minute, fuzzy's in FL, and Big Orn's in Texas, isn't that both ends of the redneck spectrum? as for marrying 3 girls, don't you have to live in Utah?
I prolly sounded a little whiny yesterday, but I do enjoy working on the truck, just not when I have to.
muddy, greasy, dirty AND they are just as likely to punch you out as wink at ya?
How in the ever living heck is ANY MAN supposed to be able to resist such charms ?!?!?!
You send a feller down an awful tough row to hoe, Big Orn.

Ahhhh,, I love it
