I have learned the hard way,if you want something done and done right, do it yourself. I have learned to change my own oil (in the 78, wouldn't attempt it in the 03), and repairing any minor problems that arise. I got a major squeak on the right front of my truck. My husabnd said, "Oh, it's just the inner fender rubbing." After inspectng it myself, I found out it was the fender that had come loose on the bottom. Grab the wrenches, problem solved. I don't know very much about mechanics, but will learn real quick where my "baby" is involved.
