tuners and mpg

Although there are claims to increased mpg, has any users actually had a noticable change in mpg? Just wanting some opinions, Thanks

I've tried all three settings in the Predator and found that stock tune is still the best for fuel mileage. I think that's a selling point that the programmer/chip manufacuturers throw in to grab more attention. Others may have different results, but I haven't been too happy with my tuner. Truck runs like a scalded dog when dialed in to the 60HP tune, but the EGT's are too high for my comfort. My truck is for work and I need it to last a long time.

I actually have had better MPG after installing the SCMT 1705 on the lowest setting.sumply due to the fact that I don't need to use as much pedal. to get going. so less pedal = less fuel provided.

YMMV

ive noticed 1 sometimes 2 MPG increase... hey every little bit helps. im using the 1705 on the tow setting. It made a big difference in the feel of my trucks power when towing the 5th wheel.
