Bilsteins (finally)
Well, after five months of waiting for the shocks to arrive,
I finally got my new Bilstein shocks installed. Man, what a difference.:-) They sure settled down that bit of bump steer.

Looks like their going for around $75 a pop. Careful they don't sell you the older yellow ones.

I think just about all of the major bilstein dealers have them but don't show or make mention that the 5100's are now nickel plated like the 7100 and 9100. The price is the same a the yellow ones and I think they may want to get rid of the older ones... So make sure they understand what you want!
P.S. I think they have 5100's to fit stock all the way up to 6" of lift. More then that and I beleive you have to go with the costly 7100's!

They look nice. Now I'm feelin like a crow, Yeti, jeeezzz. Somebody better call the dealer and let him know there's goona be a run on Bilsteins, the boys on the Ford site are at it again

Dam, I need them!! But it's senceless for me to buy them now, I won't put them on till after the winter and this week was a little costly between the new swampers, new stereo stuff for the truck and a new pc and tv for the house.
I think I better wait on any purchase over a $1.99 at this point.
We kinda have an agreement what I spen she can match on her stuff.
I can claim the tv and pc as "ours" but the tires and stereo won't fly.
Now I'm wondering what she will buy with the money I spent on my tires and stereo!!
Hopefully truck parts for my Christams presents!!!!

PS. the 5100 series can be ordered up to 34.9" in lenght which will fit up to 12" lift will full range of motion, i just ordered a set last week and they came in yellow, i havent even took them out of the box so im goiing to find out if i can send them back for the nickle plated.

Don't buy them from JACK-IT I ordered mine in july and they told me that it would be October until I got them because thery are switching to a new color(chrome). I said no problem I want the chrome ones.. well in september I got a package opened it up and they were yellow... IT PISSES ME OF WHEN SOMEBODY LIES TO ME
i CALLED THEM UP AND ASK WHATS UP!!! AND THE GUY SAID HE NEVER SAID THAT AND THAT THEY ART NOT MAKING CHROME FOR MY TRUCK HE SAID HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME AND NEVER DID. SO NOT ONLY IS THE GUY FROM JACK-IT A LIAR HE CALLED ME ONE SO ......BEWARE OF THEM.... Sorry just looking looking for my chance to get back at them for doing me like that...........
