vent conversion
Is there a way to put vents for the heat in my 78 F-100 Custom? It only has heat, no a/c. I looked at one which had vents, and i was wondering if anyone made a conversion kit to put vents in the dash?

Not sure of any converstion kits.
However, I have a good friend that was able to pull that off with all factory equipment. Looking at the salvage yards or ebay for the stuff needed: Vents, vent piping, and control from a truck with the A/C option. My friend then took several pictures of how it all came together and cut the vent holes in the dash and installed all the hardware. When complete...Factory Look!
Now...it was a bit of work for him, but it will get you what you are looking for. Good luck!

i am in the process of doing this as we speak and the only real prob i can see is how to configure the traps to work properly to direct flow.i will have it figured out by summer and working.i way just try to retro fit to AC inner box into my truck using the 2 boxesto build one
