Carefully just pop it off. It is held on by spring clips.
No screws to worry about. Just pull it straightout.
I usualy grab it at the bottom and gently tug on it until it pops loose.

I gotta 97 and its just like what lxman1 said just gently tug on it and it pops right off. If you need to get flathead screwdriver and GENTLY pry it off.
Make sure that you dont pull too far if you have the airbag switch or the 4x4 switch in the bezel.
You should be able to get it off with just your finger tips.
