I think I have asked this in other posts (with no response), but never in a post of it's own. My SC Long Bed is 20.5 feet long sometimes I would like to run it through the automatic high pressure wash to get the salt off of it. They usually have an undercarriage flush feature as you drive in. I have not taken the truck through because I was not sure what the max length is for that style of carwash. We have mostly SuperWash brand here. Anybody tried it?
My CC 6' bed is about as long as your rig, and I take it thru an auto. carwash
here all the time w/o incident (it is not a SuperWash station, as you
mentioned though). The only thing they do before it hits the rolling
tracks is they take the antenna off and put it inside the cab. I've seen
all sorts of trucks go thru it x/c duallies, which doesn't necessarily
mean they cannot make it thru, I just have never seen
one pass thru it.
Not sure if this helps answer your question or not....... [img src="http://www.smilies-world.de/Smilies/Smilies_klein_1/nixweiss.gif"]
Matt, are you talking one of the kind that you drive though or the kind that you park in and the sprayer things go around your truck?
If the latter, I would ask the attendant for the length restrictions. I cannot use the one near me because my truck is 1/2 foot too long. The sprayer things will hit it.
I just spray it off by hand every other day or so for $3.
The drive through kind is no problem you know the one w/ the fat sweaty guy who drives it in and the wipes here down.
On the coin ones the longest around here is 19 feet I think? You better check.

I would never consider anything but "touchless", and I do prefer to spray it off by hand most of the time, but... in June, we were on our way to a funeral, and I thought it sure would be nice to run it through an automatic wash so it would look decent at the cemetery.
My truck is as long as it gets... Crew cab long box with an after market light bar on the front... 22' overall.
The "Laser" touchless carwashes do a pretty good job and I actually fit. Find a Laser wash, check with the nimrod running the place and see if you will fit.
My truck is the same configuration as yours and will not fit in the SuperWash drive in bay. It's about 8 inches too long.
Their loss in revenue and our loss in convenience.
CC Shorty here and I do fit in the drive in, park, and let the touch less go around. I leave it in drive until I know that it won't hit. My Father inlaw has a SC Long box and he fits too.
I have a dually and the mirrors are out farther than the fenders. I have never tried the auto washes though. I would assume if you guys get through with mirrors than I probably could fit.
