Hey Guys, I was reading the superduty specs @ http://www.clubfte.com/users/monsta/SuperDutyFAQ.html which reconfirmed what I believe to be true:
"A SD with the factory snowplow package (X-springs 6000# cap.) will almost level the truck."
Based on the assumption that when that quote is referring to a “SD”, it means an F-350, I have a question: What if you order that plow package with an F-250 (is that even possible?), which is the same (suspension-wise) as an F-350, but with 2" blocks in the rear, instead of the F-350's 4"ers... Is the nose of the F-250 going to be a tad taller than the rear??? I would assume so, how about you guys?
I have an 02 F250 sc. with exactly what your talking about!
and it sits level as can be! I run a fisher plow !
with the plow on it drops about an inch in the front.
A 250 with the snow plow pkg will sit just about level. A 350 with the snow plow pkg will still sit about 2" higher in the rear, but it is hardly noticable. The snow plow pkg raises the front end about 1-1/2 to 2 inches. I have the snow plow pkg on my 350 and you can barely notice the rear sitting a few inches higher.

My 01 F250 with X spings (snowplow pkge) also sits level, actually it may even be the slightest bit higher in the rear but nothing noticable. Ive never had a plow on mine so i cant attest to the amount of give with the weight but i do know this, my front end is rock solid when i try to push down on it or when i step up onto the tow hook to lean into the motor.
My 99 F350 PSD looks like it is going to nose dive. It came with the Fisher Minutemount and snow package and i can't wait to bring it to the spring shop here in Massachusetts and have them level it out. Cost to be about $350.00 with Monroe shocks or I can bring them any shock and they will put it on. I am sick of looking at the ground and also I hate having a Chebby taller than me in the front. It looks like my truck is sad and droopy.
