What engine do I have?
I'm have a 79 4x4 truck and the engine vin code is H now I know it is not a 390 because I have a 390 and a 352 so I know what they look like. THe only other choise is a 351, but is it a windsor or a 351M? THanks.

could be a 302, 351 or 400, they were all small blocks i believe and looked similar if it is a 351 im not sure how you tell witch one it is, i dought its a FE cuz they didnt make them in 79, unless it was swapped out, good luck im sure theres other people that can help you more.

Buy a repair manual for your truck! Not only will it save you money and time it will also have the VIN and ratings labels decoded. You can buy the OEM service manuals with electrical diagrams etc on CD from the online store.
