How far are you from Charlotte NC?
I'll be down the 27th -2nd working. Have 31st and 1st off.

I am about 3 hours South from there. Take 77 from Charlotte to Columbia, SC and from there take 20 to Augusta, GA. I live just inside the Carolina-GA line.
Are you going on a business trip? Don't know if we can get together, but I'll try!

Yup for work Conti / General tire has there only shut down of the year then. My company has a machine there so i go to do maint on it.

Speaking of Coffee in the "Tar Heel". . .

Hey "J-O",
Not much to do with Ford Trux, maybe "Petercar Diesel Trux" tho' since that was my ride when I discovered what I ask about below.

Is Honeys' Restaurant still down off I-85 southbound exit there, on R/H side in Durham? Haven't been there in a while. Used to stop there 4 times a week when I went there though.

Yes Sir, It sure is, Exit 175. I had shop space diagonally across the big road until last spring when the state bought the building and put us in the street, for a widening project going on just now.

I stored my project truck there, and we used to make the shop available to NCFTO members for workdays. That helped pull our group together.

Should ya be passing through give us a shout, and if I can find a way, I'll meet ya there.
