I am looking for some cab mounts for a 1979 F350 regular cab. The rears are the worst but I would like to do the fronts as well. Does anyone have some for sale or know a supplier?
So I'm unsure of what you have access too (tooling etc) but the mounts on my 74 looked like those. I cut the rough edge out of the horizontal surface, confirmed where the center of the circle should and welded some new 14 gauge sheet stock onto the mount. Assuming you've got a welder and necessary skills, this is a pretty straightforward repair. I had new cab mount bushings so it was easy to figure out hole size etc. That'd be my suggestion vs finding new mounts and working to remove existing ones and installing new
I have a 1975 f100 frame i will be cutting up. I think the mounts are the same. If interested let me know. I can get some pictures and will remove them
