Well, it was about 89-90 today, bright sun, & too darn hot to do yard work. Checked my oil stash, filters, said "OK self"! So then I pulled the '07 around to change it's oil, etc. Records show In March 2024 at 86,420 miles I had changed it using Mobil 1 in 5w30 wgt, and checking the level today again it was about where it should be (roughly half way between the marks since the filter easily swallowed 1/2 quart). Today it was at 88,296 miles, or 1,876 miles later. I checked and topped off (if needed) other fluids. After the change with 7 qts and a new FL-820S filter, a start, look for leaks, back out off ramps and shut down, a few minutes later level was as it was when I started. That's 27 months @ just under 70 miles a month on average.
In early years of ownership it got Motorcraft Synthetic Blend, but about 10 years or so ago, I switched it to the Mobil 1 full Synthetic, but always from day one 5w30.
I don't know why I shared this, but I did sweat in spite of the fans going. I also found a large piece of tree branch jambed up beside the transmission between it and the floor.
